General Aviation Stakeholder Meeting

Nothing of substance was discussed. At the end several people repeated their objections to the Master Plan ignoring General Aviation. Trevor’s slides are here

Site N Hangar Waitlist

o The new fee for being on the waitlist pruned the list.
o There is a large hangar available and they are going down the list until someone wants it.
o $450 non-refundable deposit to get on list applies to the first mont’s rent
o Annual Fee of $25 will be assessed each January to remain on the hangar waitlist
o The annual fee is not refundable and does not apply to rent

Westside Utilities

o A suggestion was made at the last meetin to coordinate with the Buckley Road Imporvemnet Project and possibly put the water in under the bike path. No meetings have taken place.
o There is a meeting with the City in July to talk about water. The airport is only using 50% of its allotment.

Oceano Airport

o Cameras are being installed at each end of the runway.
o The Coastal Commission will schedule a hearing on updating the pilot lounge, putting in restrooms, and rebuilding hangars destroyed in a wind storm.
